Gravity switching

I was wondering if it would be possible to switch the gravity in different areas of the map, so that there could be an outside "space" area with a gravity of like 300 or 200, and the inside are with a gravity of 800. Or if it were possible to switch low-gravity on and off with a switch.

Also, i was wondering if anybody knew how i could set up a trigger so that people could be sucked out of a window when it was opened by a switch in another room. (I'm thinking I could do it with a trigger_push that's activated by some other trigger)

yeah, but that's compiled it won't be that much use. I'm pretty sure i can get the sucking power i need from a trigger_multiple pointing to a trigger_push, into a trigger_hurt to suck the people into the space area.

setting the gravity to 0 in the worldspawn entitie does work in multiplayer, but it's a huge pain in the ass. I suggest around 100 or so, because with 0 your player just isn't coming off the ceiling. Even 1 is really really agrivating, but 0 you just don't come down.

While were at it, does anyone know of a way to trigger a switch to turn off gravity in a mp game? Example, you're playing along having a great ole time slashing and hacking and what not, then someone flicks the switch that turns off gravity (like on a ship in space or a space station)? I'm working on a side map that I would like to have that ability. If anyone could help me with this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks,

btw, not trying to hijack this thread, it just seemed like a good place to put the question out there.

yeah that's what i'm looking for Sunburn (or one of the things :))

I'd like to set a certain area to lower gravity, or have a switch to toggle between different levels of gravity.

Hmm... Wedge, zero-g won't allow you to move around by crouching in multiplayer, it'll just send you to the cieling and keep you there.. :) Maybe a -1 value in the gravity key toggles something special like that could give you the movement style you want.
