Midgit Yoda Posted September 4, 2002 Author Posted September 4, 2002 This is just my honest opinion and I know I'm probably get the crap flamed right out of me for it but thouht FF10 stunk big time. FF7 I thought had the best storyline and character's of all. They were like almost real. I just didn't feel that with any of the others. Just my opinion tho. Back to da model (excuse any mistypes, my keyboard has decided it wants to be a piece of $hit now and not type half the letters I type.) I have almost completed the hair (and d@mn is it going to be a bitch to UVMap lol). But I personally think the hair is really kewl. I added a few strands to give it a more in depth look rather than an old Playstation 400 poly look </exaggeration>. Here are three screens of the hair thus far... Hair Image 001 Hair Image 002 Hair Image 003 Okay there he is thus far. Understand this, his face won't look much like cloud untill he's skinned heh. I'll work on that though. EDIT: Oh man guys, I forgot d@mn angelfire is a bastard and won't direct link to images. Just right click on the link and select copy shortcut then open your internet browser and past the url into the address bar. I'll change all these to a different server tomorrow after school.

delquar Posted September 5, 2002 Posted September 5, 2002 Lookin good man. though (i may be wrong) but the spike of hair going down, i belive is closer to his face and a bit bigger. i could be wrong, its been a while since i played. and if you make a sephi model for UT2k3 i will love it. i cant wait for that game
Kent Posted September 5, 2002 Posted September 5, 2002 For Cloud's taunts you could get sound clips off of Kingdom Hearts when it's released this month and use them. It'd also be cool if someone did a Kingdom Hearts Cloud model as well, but that can come later. Sephiroth sucks!
Midgit Yoda Posted September 5, 2002 Author Posted September 5, 2002 Delquar, I brought that spike into his face a little bit more but I looked it over in many refs and it appears to be more to the side of his head than on his face. Also, I had to shorten it so that it wouldn't deform into the chest when he runs. Also, what is this "kingdom HEarts" thing? I have never heard of it.

Midgit Yoda Posted September 7, 2002 Author Posted September 7, 2002 I figured I should post an update as to where he is at now. I have got the upper half of the leg (above the knee) and the hips and belt completed. Also I've completed the torso. I'm working on the face more now.

Couldn't you go into the FF game and extract models from the game and then touch them up and convert them to work in JK2? It would make life easier but there are probably so many issues to work around that it would be easier to make a model.

Midgit Yoda Posted September 9, 2002 Author Posted September 9, 2002 I appologize if I sound like I'm getting smart but, from all my reference pics I fail to see a spike that I'm missing. I actually had to add a LOT of spikes to make him look right and not have bald patches on his right side.
hawk_of_war Posted September 9, 2002 Posted September 9, 2002 I just saw the remake of Cloud for Kingdom Hearts in Playstation Official Mag., and all I can say is WOW! You can still tell its Cloud but he looks a lot different. His clothes are a lot different, he's got more armor (aka more than just the shoulder pad) and he's got A wing (?). The wing kinda throws me off but he looks cool.
