starwarsman77 Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 I mean, basically the entire thing was on music! Sure, some questions on the musical score is good, but at the expense of more important questions??
starwarsman77 Posted September 25, 2002 Author Posted September 25, 2002 And btw, people are saying that it was advertised as a music chat. Well, then, how come I never saw anything like that?????
Com Raven Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 well, this sounds like music to me... "Chat with Jeremy Soule, the award winning composer for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights. Along with producers, Casey Hudson from BioWare , and Mike Gallo from LucasArts.
FunClown Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 I found it kind of interesting and I knew it was about music, though wasn't there a few questions not relating to music. I did however, like the screenshots the next day.
Com Raven Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 well, we never mind screenies, now do we ?
starwarsman77 Posted September 25, 2002 Author Posted September 25, 2002 Of course I don't mind screens, but I do mind mean people!

I'm sorry I missed that, but if this game is supposed to be a cinematic adventure, like seeing yourself in a movie, than the musical aspect is VERY important, as music is the "engine" of any film.
Com Raven Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 you'll appreciate the music once you play the game
Hannibal Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 Yeah some times I sit and talk for hours about video game music. In all seriousness, I think they should have had a regular chat a month from now and outlined some of that music stuff. NOt had a music chat. The released some of the greatest screenshots to date and then talked about music. (OK, that guy that asked how do you get a double-bladed saber was shooting for the stars(didn't want to say he was stupid in case it was one of you guys )) That blows.
starwarsman77 Posted September 25, 2002 Author Posted September 25, 2002 It certainly wasn't me that asked that question, but hey! It was a great try, right? I'd love to know the real answer to that question!
Exar Kun II Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 Since the game is supposed to be largely skill based, I'm thinking that building a double ended saber will depend on your advancement in training. Then you will have to practice with it to build your skill level. It's not as out of reach as some might think.
carter6969 Posted September 29, 2002 Posted September 29, 2002 im goin single blade!! i dont know y but i think it will just be cool :atat::atat:
carter6969 Posted September 29, 2002 Posted September 29, 2002 i could slice your head off with my single:bdroid2:
starwarsman77 Posted September 29, 2002 Author Posted September 29, 2002 Um, carter, with his dual lightsaber he could cut your head off twice as fast.
Eets Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 What I'd really love is dual sabers that can connect together to become a double bladed saber..

Eets Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 And I'm glad I have no idea what you're talking about
starwarsman77 Posted September 30, 2002 Author Posted September 30, 2002 Yes, Eets! Thats exactly what I want. Two lightsabers that could be used independantly, together, or connect them to make a double blade. It owns all others! Like Phoenix Darkstar's Lightsaber!
Hannibal Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 Quote Originally posted by Eets And I'm glad I have no idea what you're talking about Ahh, the young and uninformed. Thundar was this old cartoon that they used to show in reruns when I was a kid(it was old then, looked like it was from the 60's or early 70's). He had these two swords that he used to attach so it was like a double-edged deal. So he was maul before Maul. Except he was cheasy and crappy.
