Chairwalker Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 Behold ! The lord of Mordor : Well, his head for the moment http://www.geocities.com/quakersnl/Head1.jpg (copy the url in your clipboard) It still need alot of tweaking and the "skin" is nothing more then a metal texture. But its starting to look like Sauron none the less
fat_101 Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 nice, very nice cant wait to see everything (his body etc ) together FATTEH
Madjai Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 cool, could you show us some side, top and back views too? and if you need ref pics, just ask, i got a ton.
Morthvargr Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 Awesome! The model looks extremely accurate in regards to the movie.
Chairwalker Posted October 30, 2002 Author Posted October 30, 2002 Here's a shot of the updated front and back. http://www.geocities.com/quakersnl/frontback.jpg Im probably going to start on the torso tommorow.
Chairwalker Posted October 30, 2002 Author Posted October 30, 2002 Yay, made a torso and some shoulder pads. http://www.geocities.com/quakersnl/wherearemylimbs.jpg I will add some more chest plates etc to the torso to make it look a bit more 'spikey'.
Kerovan Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 Looks great, only thing i can say is that the head a little too big, and the horns on the helmet are too high. But this is a hard one so overall: excellent job.
Eldritch Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 The head (especially noticeable from the back) is too skinny. The neck and bottom half of the "face" are too long. Consider shortening the length of the neck and bringing the "jaw" part of the face up some.
Chairwalker Posted November 5, 2002 Author Posted November 5, 2002 Yes, yes it is. Im working on the arms at the moment, havent had much time to work lately. I'll post an image as sson as the result pleases me.
PalnGipanji Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 Looks cool so far... but please, for the love of everything holy, you can be a little more helpful and make the geocities links clickable by putting .txt in place of .jpg or .gif. I don't understand why geocities members don't do this automatically by now...
Zedar Posted December 18, 2002 Posted December 18, 2002 Is this still alive:confused:  It has to be!!! PLEASE!!!! I've waited for this soooooooooooooooooo long!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
morphius_doh Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 Begging is so unbecoming, not to mention inmature.
Chairwalker Posted December 19, 2002 Author Posted December 19, 2002 Not dead at all. I finished the body, now im linking the mesh onto the bones. Ive had alot on my mind so progress went al little slow.
