Application Awareness

Ok, this obviously has nothing to do w/ JKO; however, I would like some opinions from other parts of the United States. When applying to a college, is it best to apply on an early decision or regular decision basis?...I'll be suprised if anyone responds to this...

Well, I just finished college last year and I'm not sure what you mean.......early or regular decision???? My best advice is to apply to all the colleges you wouldn't mind going to and then narrow the list down from there.

Best of luck!

Umm, Jedi, the college is in-state (Duke). Every other college I apply to will be on a regular decision basis. Dartmouth was and still is, my first choice; however, there are several circumstances that lead into my decision. The only negative aspect to my application will be, unfortunately, my SAT score. I took it my junior year and made a 13-something...don't laugh at me! I'm fairly strong in everything else; yet, I still think that my chances of acceptance are somewhat limited.

A 13 something on the SAT and your embarrassed????? Ok, I'm not even going to tell you what I got on mine. Dartmouth is no doubt a good school. I do know a graduate of Dartmouth, who is now a doctor, fairly well. He got over 1500 on his SAT, he said there were several ppl in his class that got over 1550 which is insane!!
