#1: Episode Five: Classic scenes, deep plot, great battles, very dark, Lucas at his finest. What's not to like?

#2: Episode Two: Amazing battle sequences, good plot (especially Palpatine's political manuevering), excellent foreshadowing and hole filling, Yoda vs. Dooku.

#3: Episode One: Excellent battle sequences, amazing ending lightsaber battle, decent plot, and again, Palpatine's manuevering.

#4: Episode Six: A bit linear and too light, great battles, thin but interesting plot, very good finishing movie.

#5: Episode Four: Extremely linear and light (unoriginal), but great plot, and a fairly good filler. Will be better when Episode III comes out.

Let's see it's hands down Return of The Jedi. Why you might ask? let's see, classic lightsaber duel between father and son (son is now a jedi knight) which is the best fighting scene for swordplay shown on the big screen/siskel and eibert. then of course there is the great battle over endor where a highly outnumbered wave of rebel starfighters are fighting their way to the death star against an almost impeneratable wall of tie fighters and intercepters (not to mention the entire imperial fleet of Star Destroyers) the death of Jabba the Hutt. need I go on?

The Empire Strikes Back

EP2 has too many cheesy lines and EP1 just had horrible lines.

hes some examples:

EP2

obi 1: "good call my young padawan." (COME ON!!!!)

EP1

anakin:"hey your a jedi too! pleased to meet you."

(GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! I WANT TO KICK THAT KID IN THE FACE!!!)

my opinion, i love the star wars movies but i think old george should get a co-writer for the third film.

Valo, you need to watch the OT again if you think the Prequels have the monopoly on cheesy lines :roleyess:

Nothing can beat, "Somehow, I've always known"

There's something very, very wrong with Leia, if she's really, "Always known..." :barf:

BTW, Jonathan Hales was co-writer of AotC.

yes my mistake after posting the reply i found out about the co-writer for AOTC and that just made me even more dissapointed.

2 writers letting those bad lines fly. i dont know. i think im going to post a new thread of Chessy Lines, that should be funny.

i have to say when i first saw ep2 in the theaters i was excitied and was hoping that the acting would be better than ep1, and it was all good until u get to the scene with obi1 and anakin in the elevator. and i was like "o know here we go again." but the action and story seemed to make up for that.

I don't remember too many cheesey lines from ep2. Then again, I haven't seen it for a while. But the poorest acting and lines have to be from the runt of the litter, ep1. AHHHHHHHH save us. Suicide inducingly bad in some points.

"No I beg you to help us. We are your humble servants" for example. Said with the most menotonous voice she could use. And Anakins "Yipee!" every five seconds and his constant flirting with a princess whos old enough to be his mother ("Are you an angel" etc. etc.). The Cheese in its essence.

Also, did anyone else notice how racist it was. The chinese trade federation, the english jedi heroes with there american peaceful freinds (naboo + anikan) and the joly gungans who represent black americans. It is really insulting.
