Taos
Admin/mods- Is there a way to keep my subscribed thread list that is on my user cp and get rid of the email notification??? Lately, I've just been getting too many of those (emails). When I shut off the email notification, I also am no longer subscribing to a particular thread.....I like to be able to go back through and maybe add something. Thanks in advance for your help! Metallus
Sorry for any confusion, but subscribing to threads means that you will get mailed. That's just what subscribing does. Not everyone makes that connection, and we've had a couple threads about this before. The 'e-mail notification' option is for choosing whether or not to receive notices about all threads you have posted in. If you turn it off, you'll still get mail for every thread you're subscribed to. My suggestion would be to just unsubscribe from all threads. Young David
I don't subscribe, so I don't know if this works. But how bout making a special e-mail account for all your LF business? All your notifications will be dropped there, outside your regular e-mail box. Is that an idea? And maybe you could enable a filter or something just in case a mail isn't a notification, so that when that's the case the mail will be forwarded to your regular e-mail.
