What would you like ....

Howdy Everyone,

 

It's been an awful long time since I dropped by the EscapeMI forums. It's really great to see so many of the same crowd.

 

As it has almost been a year since I've updated the news on the main page (I just haven't got around to fixing the news updating program from a couple server switches ago,) I've been throwing some ideas around about the site. I'd love to see the community feedback.

 

My idea was:

 

Instead of merging the site with another monkey island conglomerate and/or getting sucked up by Mojo ... my plan was to setup the site as a library. We still get a consistant crowd of people looking for game help and information, and I still think we're one of the most comprehensive web sites related to Escape since it's the only MI game we cover.

I think thats i nice idea, but ever thought of just doing a complete remake of Escapemi.com? Tear everything down, put up a new layout, everything updated, etc?

I like it now, but it's a bit un-updated.

i think you should entirely change the name. make it a full mi site instead of just escape (think about when mi5 comes out, people wouldn't come here if it was call escapemi, would they)

 

but i like your idea. keep the colour scheme, it's familiar to most of us and is warm and frriendly, but basically rehaul the entire thing (if you can) and update that update page from the swgalaxies thing (or have you, i haven't checked)
