I have a question about the new 40.72 drivers. I downloaded and tried to install them but it didnt work. It said it could not find a file called NV4_DISP.INF I have a geforce 3 ti. What is this file?? I have never had problems before with nvidia drivers. Is the geforce 3 not supported anymore?? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much.

I downloaded them. Tried to install them and got the same error.

You need to manually install them.

Right click on my computer, select properties, go to the Device Manager tab, click on the Display Adaptor, click properties for your driver, select the driver tab, select update driver, select the specify the location box, input where the extracted nVidia files are located, restart when it prompts you to :)

I then used Windows Update, which pointed me towards 'updated drivers' of the nVidia drivers I already had previously.

Anyway, I'm happy, my computer is now running a little faster and chugging less! Still low performance though :(

It is supported but to be honest I have tried out these new drivers and was less than impressed, i kept getting this weird flashing on the screen form time to time, also the n-view multi monitor support is all over the place, i went straight back to 30.82 which works a hell of a lot better. Its up to you whether you pursue this new driver, it may even be worth trawling through some tech support forums to see what you can find.
