Strange error when compiling a Map

Volrath, one of our elite mappers, has stumbled across this error in compiling the hallway for Project Duality, and we kind of are stuck until he can get it fixed. The error he is receiving is Max_points_on_winding? Anyone have an idea.. Volrath and XLR8, another elite mapper on our team, both think it has to do with the door that he made. But I am curious to see if anyone else has had this error before?

When you get this error it means that there are too many vertices repeating themselves along a single axis. It can also mean you have a "brush side polygon" somewhere with more than 64 corner points.

To explain in simple terms: Basically its when you have a brush with lots of other brushes touching the same face on the brush. I'm going to try dig up some more info on how to fix this.

[Edit: Okay, here's one suggestion, if anything/everything is detailed try making them structural, this has worked on one occasion I'm not certain if it will in this.]

See those sample points? Those are gridpoints. You can look em up in the 2d view. They indicate the brushes that are the problem. It's probably one brush that has been cloned several times. Delete all those brushes and rebuild them. That way you don't need to rebuild the entire section.
