Episode 2 at the IMAX

I Just saw Episode 2 at the IMAX here in cali... awsome, however they cut quite afew good number of scenes out... they where small scenes but it was annoying none the less... scenes like:

 

The part where Padme say hi to Obi and than notices Anakin.

the part where Anakin weaks up screaming

Anakin meets his step brother when he goes looking for his mom

 

and quite afew more...

 

anyways, has anyone elce seen it in the IMAX?

for anyone who doesnt know, the IMAX is a 60 foot screen, the one i saw it at was the biggest one in the IMAX indest.

Yeah, i saw it at IMAX, it was awesome. They had to cut those scenes because imax films cannot be over 2 hours long, due to the size of the film and fitting it on the reel. I thought the cuts were well done and they cut out scenes that i didn't really care, because seeing it in IMAX was all about the action sequences for me. I knew the story, i just wanted to see 50 foot tall jedi fighting! And i was not disappointed. The yoda duel totally blew me away :D:D:D

yes i saw it as well. the yoda fight was sweet.

but it was mostly about the action to me as well. they cut the right scenes out IMO. but i could be mistaken.

It was good... it would have been cooler though had they not removed some scenes...

I find the IMAX concept just cool. We have one here in Vienna, and it's a very nice screen indeed. We were on a 3D film about fish. That was just cool. The only downside of this concept is if your eyes are not perfect. Like mine. I had to take my glasses under the 3D glasses to correctly focus. But the film was just great.

They are now making a film with a painter and paint blotches running over the screen. I saw the trailer. That was funny! Ink blotches were flying around you... I hope it will come out soon
