Toonces
Well, I build people computers for a living so I build a wide range of Platforms for various uses. I don't want to give advice before I get a little more information
Treacherous Mercenary
Of course it's for gaming! If you ask about the video card, it's a Geforce 2MX 32MB, but the two main things I'm looking for is if I can buy a good router for $76 and if the processor would be compatible with the mother board listed above... Toonces
Ok cool, yeah, I just wanted to make sure The processor is fine, It's a great Board. I've done that same MB/Processor combo. On the router, sure, you can get a 4 port Linksys for around 70 bucks. On the rest of your setup, 256 megs of ram isn't really enough RAM to run many recent and upcoming games without some noticeable HD access. Also you might want to consider an upgrade on the Video card soon. The Motherboard that you've chosen will allow for significant expansion in the future

I will consider uprading the RAM, Video Card, etc in the future when I can get a job for those things. Thanks so much Toonces!

Eets
Because I own a slightly superior DVD-ROM, and I got it for what I consider a bargain, and I was gonna help you out..

All I'll say is that I found it for less than $50, so it's still a good deal to me.
