FOA Technical Difficulties

I'm in the canal of Atlantis and I'm at the Sentry Guard bit. I use the ladder and pull open the chest plate and whatever but sometimes when I leave the chest-plate view I discover that Indy has disappeared. He can still move and perform normal Jones-like tasks but he just isn't visible.

 

Any way to stop this?

Using the original interpreter or scummvm?

Well I'm past it now so it doesn't really matter but it might be worth looking into.

 

It does it in both versions. LEC Q+E and, as Mojo has now dubbed it, au natural.
