[LS]-Mek Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 At certain angles the snowflakes will just disappear from view. I'm not sure why it is. Any ideas? P.S. This is MP http://members.lycos.co.uk/legendsofthesith/shot0880.jpg
ook_typhon Posted December 21, 2002 Posted December 21, 2002 Cool Looks good May I ask how you did it if you dont want to tell me in here E-Mail me please and I might be able to help Plus I would like to add it to a snow lvl im doing http://members.iinet.net.au
Wudan Posted December 21, 2002 Posted December 21, 2002 Pretty good snow - are they just non-clipping shaders placed throughout the 'snowing' area?
SunBurN Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 Is this a custom effect or a shader? If it's an effect, you may have the delay set too high. Try delay 200 or lower. I hope this helps. SunBurN
tarafudge Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 Making snow is easy. There is even a tutorial on it. Click Here .
Leslie Judge Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 Yes, if you make Single Player levels. In a Multi Player level you can't use the same weather effects. That's why these guys try different solutions.
tarafudge Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 After reviewing the tutorial I discovered that the tutorial doesnt work in multiplayer. Sorry for wasting your time...
Emon Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 Just use some fx_runners and a custom EFX for snow.
