In the book I believe that when the Fellowship leaves Rivendel the sword was renewed and Aragorn took it with him, not so in the movie. In the extended cut of FotR at the beginning of disc 2 Elrond talks about Aragorn's mother and Narsil reforged into Anduril, so we can assume that Aragorn does wield Anduril after they leave Rivendell. I do think that he is using Narsil because if you look at the Appendices you see the swords closer and I think that Aragorn did take it. Freeze your DVD's when you are watching the movies and look at the handle and it is Narsil. I will try to take pictures right now.
