Jedi4141 Posted December 29, 2002 Share Posted December 29, 2002 My brother and I are newbies in JK2. I wanted to create server on my pc so that we can play against each other with some bots. When i set up a server, he cant seem to find it (it is not listed). Is there a menu item I need to have on? a trick? or this not possible. Marker0077 Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 What you need to do is add gamespy to your list of master servers. What that does is it puts your server on the gamespy list. In console type sv_master2 "master0.gamespy.com" That should add you to the gamespy list & it will definitely help you getting clients; But if you don't have a fast connection like at minimum of a 512k DSL (up & down) or higher, people will be lagged & will probably not want to play.
