Lynk Former Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 The future of humans as depicted in Calvin and Hobbes... powerful... powerful stuff...
BlackDove Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Being that we'll be able to colonize space any day now, we'll get a lot of stuff that we don't currently have (of chemical value) which will most likely result in bulding of equipment that will be able to sustain us in areas which we can't even imagine today. Plus the technology that allows us to understand our psyche and well physical nature will advance a lot also so that will be an area which we'll get to know better too. That is unless we turn back time to sticks n'stones after the nuclear winter
Al-back from the BigWhoop Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 i dont think human race will evolve much further. even if there r genetic changes, there would b no natural selection, therefore "evolved" humans would have a big chance of mating "non-evolved" humans. the result: there will b very diferent kinds of humans, some with really great resistance to most dangerous stuff in this world and some with an awfull reisistance. 99% of the human population will b somewhere in between.
Lynk Former Posted January 7, 2003 Author Posted January 7, 2003 I see the human race evovling into severel different species in the far distant future...
Guest Jed Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 Hasn't it already? There's Idiotus Maximus, Homospammian, etc.
Lynk Former Posted January 7, 2003 Author Posted January 7, 2003 You forgot Killyas-Maximus... the species I'm part of *runs after Jedi220 with his sword and cuts his feet off*
