griff38
Yes it's violent, sorry man. Perhaps your mom was right. Break out of the house a few times at night and she will wish you stayed home playing video games.

Datheus
Meh, video games arn't the only thing that induce violent tendencies... Video games are competitive... THAT'S what induces violent action, as far as I'm concered... Although, if you give these things to actual CHILDREN, then yes, that's not good. Not good at all. But handing them to a 14 year old kid won't cause any emotions to errupt that playing in a sports event wouldn't. It's our instinct to be the best and be on top that drives us to violence... Not some underlining meaning in a game. These parents and kids that get in these huge brawls at sporting events... Couldn't we technically say that BASEBALL causes violence? What a load of crap that would be. Someone would drag me into a back room and shoot me for being a jackass. As far as I'm concered, it's no different with video games. Please say that star wars is not violent. A 17 year old would use better grammer and use captial letters at the start of each sentance! j/k. Show your mom the age label on it and say "Hey mom, even 11+ kids play these games!" Worked for me!
Datheus
Cut him slack, Flanders, English isn't his first language ...Your 17 and your mom still tells you what games you can and can't play? o.O Yea, JK2 is... eh... Technically violent, but in a cartoon way... I mean, if she'll let you watch the Star Wars movies, she should let you play the game... Tell her that Tell her the game isn't any more violent then the movies... That should do the trick.
griff38
Star Wars is about the 2349th on my list that premotes vilolence. Tell your mom that eating meat causes alot more violence than sitting in a room watching a screen. Iam 38 years old and this game (amoung other things) helps me release my naturally violent feelings. Tell your mom if she wants to stop violence, help oppose George Bushes war mongering.
