Crazy John Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 I've just started playing Escape From Monkey Island for the first time and I think it's gonna take a while to get used to . I find the new control system quite complicated. I think they got the control system just right in The Curse Of Monkey Island, that was quite good I think. Also there was no manual with my game which is most annoying!
Remi Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 The controls take a bit getting used to, but they are actually quite decent and very interactive (if you can ignore the running into wall bug). Your manual should either be in the CD cover or on the CD.

Gabez Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 Yeah, the CD cover is actually the manual in most cases. Unless you have it in a DVD case. You can use a game pad or joystick to make controlling Guybrush easier, too. But you get used to it after a while. Another handy tip is to press the "o" key whenever you get physically stuck. It will whiz you out-side or onto the map.
