nova_wolf
I collected the series since it started, and have hardbacks of Vector Prime and Destiny's Way to boot. Excellent series, which has brought in every character they could, but not for sheer ell of it. The storylines covered are awesome: Family bond Greive Loss of those close to you Vicotry Failure Seeming Futlilty The nature of the Force The Jedi Code The Jedis abiltiies War Humour Birth Recovery Interspeices relations Government Bio and Standard Technology And draws upom the Original Trilogy, the Prequels, chracters from every age. Whether you like the riginal trilogy, or feel like something new, it is a series worth reading for ANYONE!
dazilla
I bought and read all the NJO books up to Rebel Dream, but then I stopped reading them because Anakin died (he was my absolute favorite character, and decided that since he's not alive, well, then the books aren't worth reading)...why, you ask, I read up to Rebel Dream then? Because I bought Star by Star, Dark Journey, and the Aaron Allston Duology at the same time, so I had no choice but to read it.

I have all the NJO ones up to Rebel Dream (or Rebel Dawn...I dunno, the second one), and most of the other ones except a few that I have a hard time finding. AgentSmith
I like the New Jedi Order books, they're pretty good. I haven't read (nor do I own) "Vector Prime" yet, oddly. But I have read the books after it. I stopped reading for a whole while but recently picked up again. I purchased and read "Rebirth", "Star by Star" and am currently reading "Dark Journey". "Star by Star" was the best NJO book so far in my opinion. I really loved that one, it did suck though that Anakin Solo died, he was one of my favorite characters. Once I finish "Dark Journey" I hope to get and read "Rebel Dream", "Rebel Stand", "Traitor" and "Destiny's Way".
mima kake
I nust finished hero's trial. So I think I will check the next one out to. so that would be jedi eclips wich I will get this week.
Anakin_Solo
Yes its a shame that they killed of Anakin Solo, he was always heading to become like his grandfather. (Anakin Skywalker) But its good to know that Ben Skywalker is born and the Son of Luke Skywalker will bring stability to the Jedi cause... in case people didnt know this, oops i let the cat out the bag. But its good to see both death and life and the constant struggle that is the Star Wars Universe. So much i even had a triology of books that i wrote (partially complete) that was to take it on.. maybe one day it will be complete.....
Darth Talliusc
something i neglected to add before: DT's list of favourites. if you havent read much of the EU then these are the ones which i reccomend you read because they simply stand out as the best. *ahem* thrawn trilogy x-wing series (1-9) thrawn duology Rebel Stand Rebel Dream Darktide 1 and 2. shadows of the empire. dont get me wrong its all good reading (except the yevethan crisis oi that blew) but these ones are the books that i reread constantly just for the joy of it. AnaKin_SkYwalKr
Finally found a New Jedi Order Thread! I've read all of them up to Destiny's Way (So basically all of them so far). I think that the NJO books are some of the best out for SW. I like them even though they keep killing my favorite characters (Chewie, Anakin...better stop there for those ones who haven't read further). But everytime I lose one favorite, I find a new one so it works out. I think I probably liked Star by Star best, but Destiny's Way is really good too. I only have one word to defend that: Akbar. Well, there is one thing I'd like to talk about, but it'd be a spoiler to anyone who has not read Destiny's Way. So, if anyone wants to tal, send me a private message (It has to do with Shimmra). mace_sundancer
i'm currently reading dark journey and will be getting enemy lines 1 and 2 when i get paid again. oddly i read dark tide 1 and 2 then never read anymore (basically cos they are by mike stackpole who rules andfeature my fave character corran horn) i then decided to start buying them several months later. i've got about 30 SW novels i think... TPM ANH shadows of the empire ESB ROTJ x-wing rogue squadron x-wing wedge's gamble krytos trap bacta war wraith squadron iron fist solo command the courtship of princess leia (disappointing after reading te x-wing series, zsinj was much better in them than in CPL) heir to the empire dark force rising last command isard's revenge jedi search dark apprentice champions of the force i, jedi (one of the best) starfighters of adumar ambush at corellia assault on selonia showdown at centrepoint (whole trilogy is kinda lame) specter of the past vision of the future vector prime dark tide 1 and 2 agents of chaos 1 and 2 balance point edge of victory 1 and 2 star by star dark journey i once read all my SW novels consecutively it took 5 months..! nova_wolf
I kinda liked the Corellian Trilogy - the deep look at the system afetr it being made legendary for scoundrels such as Han, Lando, Corran and Wedge. Liked the cultural descriptions. And I Jedi was awesome. Just for value for money - the books is the width of any hardback, and yet is paperback, in papaerback font, and STILL only the ususal £5.99 - THATS value!
