FLASH vulnerability leaves most systems open to attack

Recommended Posts

Macromedia has reported that in all versions of FLASH prior to 12-Dec-2002 there is a vulnerability that allows a malicious user to insert a virus or a Trojan/Backdoor.

As most systems play FLASH animations without asking going to a web page with an infected FLASH file will be likely to infect your system.

A fix is available at Macromedias Web Site.
