how can i make CMI to run unde windows 2000?

and also: i have set a gamma correction in windows, with the nvidia driver. but when i run a game these gamma settings do not apply. can this be done in any way?

thanks.

bgb... I don't know why you didn't recommend him towards your programmed launcher for CMI. Though, I'll do it. :D

An alternate version of the launcher/setup program that LucasArts shipped with Curse of Monkey Island, CMI Launcher allows you to alter some settings that are more difficult to find in the original launcher and Windows itself. With CMI Launcher you can easily change the level of DirectSound accelleration, which fixes the problem of CMI's video cutscenes running too fast in Windows 2000 and XP. CMI Launcher also gives you the option to play CMI in windowed mode instead of full screen, though this can be a bit unstable.
