Well actually thats not true. If you had all these bullets lodged in your legs away from any major veins, or more importantly the arteries, then the blood would just clot around the bullet and seal it preventing any damage. Sometimes during a major operation it can be more dangerous to continue and remove the bullets. They could either be left for another operation, or if it is thought that they will not cause any problems they would be left in.

Even if he/she is still alive I bet he/she still has to go under some serious surgeries. I plan to be a Radiologist in the future, but the most I've ever heard was 8 bullets and living even some books I've read, then she didn't live happy ever after, after the surgery.
Andy867 Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 Well, from what I can remember, he did live after the surgery, and even went back to the store where he was shot at, but ended up quitting because of the memories. Not sure if he is still alive, although it wouldn't surprise me either way.
