boinga1
In the Obi-wan/Jango fight scene, right after Jango ties up Obi's hands and loses his jetpack, he runs over and grabs his blasters, and Obi charges him. Right before Jango is knocked over the edge, he shoots once at Obi. When I watch in slowmo, it appears that the shot heads straight at Obi-wan then disappears. Anyone get this? Tie Guy
Hmm....i don't know, its close. I think it's just going off into the distance very quickly, as it should. I guess you could see it either way.
Ratmjedi
Well this isn't related to that but I noticed while Jango is going down the side on Kamino and has Obi-Wan with him look at his helmet and tell me what is missing. I know it didn't get broeken off but it also was not retracted because you can tell whether or not it is there or not. Someone have a explanation? Keiran Halcyon
Well i dont know if after that scene the thing is still in the helmet, but i think Jando crashed his head when obi-wan broke his jetpack...

Jedi_Monk
Hmm....i don't know, its close. I think it's just going off into the distance very quickly, as it should. That's exactly what happens. The laserbolt misses just wide and vanishes into the distance.

I saw the movie, it brokes, as i said when Obi wan pulls the wire and Jango is driven off to the floor. From that moment he has not the targeting antena. (Of course later he either repares it or gets a new helmet).

Are you sure? when I watch in slowmo, it goes at him much more slowly than that. Try it. It goes at him slow-slow-slow-slow-gone. Maybe it hit his robe? No, that would be far too obvious. Maybe, the image of the laser you saw was just an image of the engine refracted on the rain and a sudden gust stoped the illusion before it appeared to reach Obi... What? It could happen... maybe... ok maybe it couldnt... hey it was just a suggestion.
