Who do YOU think darth malak is?

I didn't mean a direct relation to Exar Kun, like blood related. I ment that because this is during the Sith Wars, Exar Kun was a major part of that, so he could be working for him. (during the time he was alive, or in spirit form) This would only work if it stays true to the EU series. :)

well, if i am correct, there was a period called the sith wars in which tons of jedi fought tons of sith lead by exar kun (cant remember who made exar kun the first sith, but was some powerful dark jedi spirit) and after the sith wars, there was only exar kun, and he chose an apprentice Darth Bane to become the other sith, after that, darth bane chose someone else who then chose darth sidious. please correct me if im wrong

i wanna see what Revan looks like but i guess we wont...also there are always 2 sith, no more, no less right? So when Revan gets killed and Malak steps up to be the Sith lord, who is his apprentice? He SHOULD have one.

I guess that's where you can possibly come in, and you might possibly be the next sith lord if you go that path,

Yes maybe, but what if i stay light throughout the whole game ( which i think is impossible, cuz power catches me) shouldnt Malak have a backup apprentice?

I guess as the story evolves you could meet a could be apprentice to malak and maybe you'll fight him either for good or for bad.

Or maybe you'll become evil to such a degree that'll you'll kill malak too and take the secrets of the sith

Good point, swatteam... after all, we have yet to see them both in the same place... :D

I personally wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be Jolee Bindo's old apprentice, which would also be the reason why Bindo went into hiding... although that IS rather cliche.

Cliche yes, but hell isn't most of starwars? That sounds like quite a good theory to me Burrie!

Though from memory his bio says something about him fighting against Exar Kun.

I wonder if perhaps he will have been the master of a Jedi who turned Sith during that era? Or maybe he was the best friend of one of the same.

I haven't read any but one of those series of comics, can anyone with knowledge of them take a guess at whom his apprentice or friend might have been?

Anyway, to go back to Malak, I would say that whatever happened to him, it probably happened on the rugby field. He really takes his mouthguard seriously.

Kind of like Janet and MIchael Jackson.

I think Malak will just be his own evil self. Your alot more evil if your evil just because you want to be.

Maybe Bioware will do wanna those movies at the beginning of the game that shows what happened right before the game. That would be great. Then we could see Revan and how he died.

To be honest, I am personally wondering what the deal with Revan is... I mean, it would seem that his only role was being Malak's master and then he died, and that all happened before thegame. What is the purpose of this little tidbit? Surely there'll be more to this?

Plus...arent there more then just exar kun, then bane, then sidious??? There are way more because Sidious is not 4,000 years old. And the sith wars WERE 4,000 years b4 episode 1.

No no no.... read my post, i said it was exar kun, then darth bane, THEN A COUPLE OTHERS, who eventually took sidious :)

bah, i forgot about ulic qel-droma and his brother kay, who fight, ulic wins, and loses his powers, meanwhile ulic (powerless) leads the jedi to exar kuns hideout (which he was gaining power at, kinda like a temple for monks.) then exar almost dies, traps his spirit in the massassi temple, and that begins the sith wars.

Let's see if I can remember this right...

First we have Freedonn Nad, followed by Exar Kun... there were lotsa petty Sith Lords afterwards, but they rebuild themselves about 1000 years before ANH, and began a siege on the Republic.

The final battle of the Sith occured on Ruusan, led by the Sith Lord Kaan... the Sith wiped themselves and a large number of Jedi out at what will be known as the Valley of the Jedi... Darth Bane is the only Sith Lord who survived the encounter(I believe he fled before the Sith let the mind bomb loose in the Valley)... this is all chronicled in "Jedi vs. Sith".

Bane then constructed the 'always two there are'-rule, which would pass down Sith Lord upon Sith Lord, which would end with Sidious

No that ends the Sith War.

That is about right. But the Sith Lords after Exar Kun will now be Reven and Malaak which is approx. 50 years after the events of the Sith War.

One thing I would like to add to your accurate description to the timeline is that Bane was the first to use the title of Darth. And since he created the Sith Code of one master and apprentice all Sith Lords after him carried on his legacy as Darth.
