leXX
That's a great set up man, congrats! You are gonna make me look silly when we play UT2K3, my graphics card sucks. I've only got a 32mb Matrox Millenium:(
Aerothorn
That flat panel...its not an LCD screen, is it? Because you don't want those for gaming. They have slow refresh rates so it causes blurs around everything. Otherwise, very nice computer. Better then mine. Ya never wanna buy the best their is, as it starts being an extra $1000 for like 10% better performance, but you always want a large hard drive(When I got this a year ago I got an 80 gigabyte harddrive) since memory usage in games goes up fast. Lotsa RAM is good too.

Hmmm, do you really think it makes that much difference? *hopes not* I guess I could spend a few hundred extra dollars and get the digital one.....but I have to say that when I went and looked at them at a Dell store, that he showed me a game on the same monitor that I'm getting and it looked incredible. Wouldn't you say that the picture is only as good as the hardware you have to run it? I have that 128 mb graphics card...I think that will help my cause....... Guest Jed
Personally, I think that it's mostly preference when it comes to LCD vs. CRT. I've been gaming on LCDs for a long time now, and games look great on it. As long as you have a nice resolution, LCD screens are fine. Blurring only occurs on really crappy displays. And for Dell, they're pretty good. No need for the CRT.
Aerothorn
I think they have some newer ones where blurring does not occur- however from what I've read on Gone Gold they are only very recent, like this year. It won't occur in slower games but in fast paced ones like UT 2k3 its supposed to happen. Still, Jedi is the one who owns it so he would know better then I.
