Natopo
...but your dad won't buy them. First of all, Mowing the lawn. Back when they had to trim the grass with knives, they invented the lawn mower and that was over. Yet the lawn mower takes effort to push sometimes, and it's modern version is that tractor mower. Second, Shoveling the snow. This is probably the worst, as winter lasts 4-6 Months in Virginia. Plus, we just had a huge snowstorm with around 15-18 inches. I usually have to shovel the walkway, sometimes the driveway, and 40 Sq. Ft. Porch. Luckily, my next door neighbor usually lets me use the advanced form of the Snow shovel, the snowblower. Thank Goodness for those. List any other jobs that you think could be easier with modern technology.
Rogue Nine
I don't know about you, but I used hedgeclippers, not knives to cut my grass.
Natopo
Well, they're kinda the same thing. Both sharp, except hedgeclippers have two blades instead of one.

Darth Homer
*Grabs wheel of thread* WHOA!!! We've gotten Waaaaaaay of track here, let's try to fix this... Cutting wood is one chore. My dad cuts wood and prunes back the bushes, etc a fair bit and yet still doesn't use any machine to help him, no chainsaw or anything similar
