AnxiousApe
Its 16/17th centuary. I can't remember exactly. In CMI when you're in the theatre in Pueto (sp?) Pollo and you go to the light controls upstairs, Guybrush says something about 16/17th centuary electrics. Its been ages since I played it so I can't remember the quote. Huz
More specifically, the interface coin from CoMI has a date on it.
Yufster
Quite frankly, I always imaged Elaine with an english accent, and I thought it highlighted the sort of lifestyle she was supposed to lead as a major political figure and the whole strict father thing. on the other hand, I hate hate hated her voice in CMI. She sounded like a goddamn BAG, bitchy and horrible. And quite frankly the voiceacting sucked. It was like she was reading the lines without casting a thought for what she was supposed to be doing or who she was supposed to be talking to. All the other actors lines seem to melt together, whereas hers stand out as awkward and ugly. Can't remember her voice in EMI, but I didn't like it. They're americanizing the whole thing too much.
