I'm wondering, are these two the only sizes available, or can the image dimensions be any power of 2 with the same dimensions on each side? (Unregistered Terragen won't allow 1024x1024 renders, I'm wondering if I can get away with 768x768 or if i have to go down to 512x512.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leslie Judge Posted February 26, 2003 Share Posted February 26, 2003 I tried 512x512 but it's very blurry most cases. 1024x1024 (the original skies of the game are mostly in this resolution) is much better but not the best. You can go up to 2048x2048 (for example in Evader's Forbidden Twilight map) and the result will be quite good. With unregistered Terragen you have two options. One is to register. Somehow... Unregistered allows a max. of 1280x960. So you can render in 960x960 and scale it up to 1024x1024. This will be far better than 512x512. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
