Lord Sokar Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 I was considering getting back into the game, and I was interested in Promod as it seemed to reward skill. However, All Seeing Eye shows exactly 2 Promod servers? Is that right? I'm not at all interested in in anything but 1.02 (except maybe Promod). 1.03 killed the game and even with jacked-up damage/lower blocking 1.04 servers, it never was the same and the fun was gone. Any good saber-only NF 1.02 servers left around? Saber-only FF is acceptable too.
Solo4114 Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Not dead, just resting. It's feeling better! Actually, the AOTC:TC guys have taken over ProMod. Check out their forums and take a look.
Anakin Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 Indeed- we have taken over the project from Artifex and we are developing the code further. Server wise Im not sure why the numbers have dwindled. http://promod.aotctc.com Anakin
Toa Tahu Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 Hey Anakin,I'm just wondering why,Promod 3.1 isn't posted in jkii.net.Are you answerable for this?
Anakin Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 No not guilty of that, Artifex did send them the file, but it is available on our website for download. Anakin
Kurgan Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 The JK2.net file server is having problems or you'd be able to get it from there right now as well. Now even if all development had ceased on ProMod, that wouldn't stop anyone from using it, would it? Here and I thought people were complaining about "too many versions" of all these mods? Make up your mind people! j/k ; )
Anakin Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Indeed as ProMod is such a cool mod it shouldn't matter, but as we are looking after it and developing it further hopfuly ProMod will pick back up in popularity. Anakin
Anakin Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 more like 3.3 There are a few things that need to be changed then it will be then going to 4.0 and then after that it will be AOTC:TC Code.
