Do you mean like you downloaded a skin and want to install it?

Well in that case, the zip file that contains the skin should contain a .pk3 file in it (example = reborn.pk3). Use WinZip or a similiar extracting tool to extract this .pk3 file into your base folder (default path = C:/Program Files/Lucasarts/Jedi Knight II/Gamedata/base). Just look for the Gamedata folder if you are having trouble finding it, the base folder is in Gamedata. After the .pk3 file is in the base folder, you can load up JKII and start playing! (except on pure servers where the only skins you can use are the ones the server host has installed on his computer).

When i go to extract all i copied and pasted the path you said to use and when i do that the system says that the .pk3 file has a password and cant be opened without it

The skin should have come with a readme file so the password might be in there. If not, go to where you downloaded it and look around there for it. If there is an email address in the readme try that too. If you can't find it, you are probably **** out of luck...

Put the pk3 file in your /base folder (in your JediKnight 2 directory, wherever you installed the game).

That should be enough. You don't need to extract anything from the Pk3 file itself...

First find the skin/model you would like to download off whatever the site is.

Second(make sure you have winzip or something)

When the file is down downloading unzip it to c:\programfiles\lucasarts\jediknight2(or whatever)\gamedata\

base\

and then leave it as is.
