Heavyarms
I haven't seen a new flight sim that's about some kind of modern fighter/bomber, like the F-16, in a very long time. Why does no one make modern flight sims? Stop making WW2 ones! Till then, I'm stuck playing Jane's F15, in which I have lost 6 planes in only the first two days of desert storm. Damn SA-6's! edlib
I have Microprose's Falcon 4.0, all about F-16 fighter missions. But you're right, it's a couple of years old (came out in 2000) at this point, but you may be able to find it around.
Snafu7
Get Janes USAF, you can fly A-10s, F-16, F 15E, F-117, F-22, and a few others like the F4 Phantom and the "Thud" F-D105
darthfergie
modern Flight sims...well Falcon 4.0 is deffinatly the most robust now... But older time flight sims...well even LucasArts is getting into the WWII flight sim biz with their new Secret's of the Luffwaffa game (or some title like that...title is yet unanounced but rumors have been flying all over about it plus the LucasArts E3 header has the fighter plane on it)
