Well, if you want to be something else, just "unlearn" your current profession and learn something else.

 

Otherwise you will have to make another character on a different server.

No really, because I think that the most common class/profession will be either bounty hunter or smuggler. Professions such as Artisan, Entertainer, or Doctor will be scarce.

 

Speaking of the Doctor profession, do they get to charge for their treatment of a patient's wounds or is it a standard pre-defined amount. Because if it is not a pre-defined amount then a doctor in a clan or player association could be very important to the survival of such an organization and possibly give an advantage.

I would be human because just like in the matrix I would like to have my "digital self". Hopefully the editing tool allows someone to be 4'3 and 342 lbs. lol

That is possible. In fact, you can edit your character so detailed, you can make a pretty close replica of your face on it.

 

I will definatly try that out when the game comes out on a side character.

I chose Wookie because they are one of the strongest species making them good Bounty Hunters (I think). Also they are probably good for my starting career shoice, Marksman.

Well, if you want to discuss Star Wars, you will have to expect that it is termed in the system Star Wars uses.

Which is the metric system.

I know, it is actually a better system, if you need to convert it into smaller or larger terms. For example, 1 m = 1000 mm = 0.001 km, etc.
