If you could choose a Sith or jedi from any of the Star Wars movies, games,or even comics as your main guy, then who??

Me--I would like to use Plo Koon :koon: or aylaa Secura or even quinlin Vos(comics)Hope I spelled their names right. The jedi that jango shot looks cool, and Even Piell may be interesting.I'm new to this site, and already Ive read some pretty impressive topics and discussions.Much better then the forum at http://swforums.bioware.com/viewforum.html?forum=26

for before for i was 'chosen',there i was jedimaster rob. So,heres a shout out to the others who came here too.

:evanpiel: Wish the game would come out already,or at least give us a damn demo!!!"

If I had the opportunity to choose somebody from the movies.....for me this is an easy choice - Qui Gon Jinn. I just like his demeanor and his overall appearance [notice the similar avy ;)]. Qui-Gon is also very wise and patient, two characteristics that I think are important or that will be important for this game. :)

Excuse me,your highness--But leia-a great leader???

First off,she led a "diplomatic mission to Aldernaan" and that went real well. Then she tell the rebels and rogues that it might be risky, but they don't got a choice and let the ships leave echo base, with x wings as proctectors followed by a ion cannon shot.It wasn't her plan. That general ????? made it.You know, the guy who would hate to lose Solo.

And in ROTJ,she gets caught by jabba,And gets shot on Endor.Solo led the raid, not her. Now,i only know of rumors of her in the novels and comics.Yes,i read she becomes a jedi and has three kids with Han.She now leads the new counsil or something with General Solo and others.I think shes brave, and a good symbol head, but i kinda disagree with leadership.

And i 'm not trying to be sexist or anything.I love Leia, but leadership?:lsduel:

ok, u have some points there, but...

- the messup of the diplomatic mission wasn't her fault... + she was fast enough and smart enough to think of a way out (re R2 and 3PO)

- the stuff in the death star was a bit cheap, admittedly - she wasn't very poised or calm and came across rather brattish in some parts

- she *was* one of the key figureheads of the alliance

- han led the endor raid and she got shot, but she still shot those stormies

- we didn't see too much of anything of that sort in the movies - i guess i'm referring more to the books where she went on to become a jedi, and president of the Republic for some time, and a High Councilor with a lot of diplomatic influence. you could see it more in the books than in the movies. :)

Why didn't I mention Padme the first time around? lol.

well, anyway.

Leia, Padme, Chewie, and Obi-Wan. In no particular order.

i still think leia and padme are good leaders. :p

And perhaps C-3PO, just for the sake of his reactions to various things.

"Goodness gracious me! It's a Sith Lord! I do hope you won't harm me, sir! I was just about to leave in any case!"

ok, that was a lame joke, but you get the point. :p

Prolly coz I'm a girl, so tend to empathize/sympathize with others - especially lead ones - in the realm of battle, etc. ;)

LOL, yes that does make me a jedi-babe. :p

I haven't read the comics, lol... and I don't think I know exactly who Aurra Sing is, though I'd prolly recognize her if I saw her... the only female Jedi that I actually clearly know of and can picture are Yaddle and Shaak Ti. :p

ooh!!!! YADDLE/YODA would be cool people to play...

this list is growing by the minute hehe... i'd never stop playing the game at this rate...

- leia

- padme

- yoda

- yaddle

- chewie

- c3po

- obi-wan

When I selected characters to play though, I was mostly thinking of main/major characters that play a leading role/influence events in the movies/books in a major way. :)

Aurra sing is a fallen jedi who became the jedi slayer. She has white skin, kinda bald head and a rifle. She made a cameo in ep1 during the pod race first lap.Shes big in the comics.

Aylaa secura,is a blue twil'ek,seen in ep 2 in the jedi library and battle at the end.She too,is in the comics.

Padme....ok,can't really mess with her.Her husband might cut off my hand or choke me-lol.

oh, ok that explains why I can't recognize them/their names immediately - i haven't really read the comics. :p Good to know though. ;)

as for padme - her people wanted to change the laws so that she could rule again. what more testimony do you need? ;)

Most probably Yoda or Mace Windu.

Why Yoda?Because he's one of the most powerful Jedi Masters out in the Galaxy, and I want to stay light side.

Why Mace?Because he's the best saberist(no doubt about that!remember,we don't get to see who kills him yet,so the is no doubt)in the galaxy.

Isn't Yoda one of the best swordsmen as well, even though he doesn't use his saber often?

remember what Obi-Wan told Anakin... 'if you spent as much time with your saber as you do flying, you would rival master yoda as a swordsman"...

really? when did dooku beat mace? don't recall this one...

mace being the strongest makes a bit of sense considering his build + the style he uses... it's a strong and aggressive style. but then again... size matters not. yoda is more about the skill but he seemed just as strong. :p;)

i found out this when i read a star wars book

"In the history of the Jedi Order, only two opponents ever overcame him in battle. One was Master Yoda, who some said was the Order's true master of lightsaber combat. The other was former Master Dooku, whose own fighting style was archaic, yet stunningly effective"
