Livingdeadjedi Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Ok i can do fogging outside, thats easy BUT if you have a level that is outside and inside and you want fog only outside for distance culling but not inside how do you do it ? if i did distance culling and fogging in worldspawn the fog would also be inside.....
Leslie Judge Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 You can build fog brushes around the buildings to cover the outside area. They are like water brushes. Top and bottom should be textured with a fog shader, and the sides with the nodraw shader to prevent weird effects between the brushes.
