Business_Eskimo
Im sorry, can you rephrase this question? It doesn't make much sense to me.
Druid Bremen
Ok, rephrase. I have a tub of water. I make it tilt. Will it make the water flow out? Ok, I see you dont understand. Take a cup of water. put it on the table. Tilt it over. See the water sploshing out onto the table? Ahhhh. Now you understand!
Emon
It won't do anything of that sort at all.
Druid Bremen
Oh, thought so. Any ideas on how to do this? And anyway, I have another question. I have downloaded a few custom md3s with new textures. In GtkRadiant they look fine. In game they have some basic texture. HELP!!!!!!
Lil Killa
when you first start the game type /sv_pure 0 and then devmap to your map and u should see the textures. or you could pack the models into a pk3.
Scarlett
Any ideas on how to do this? It depends on if you want it to be dynamic or not, as in making the tub tilt in-game by a trigger of some sort. If you want it to be dynamic, you're out of luck. If the tub is already tilted and you want water to kind of look like it's flowing out of it, you can do that. Water is no different from any other brush, it just has some fancy effects to make it look different, like transparency and a parameter to let you move thru it. For water with real physics we'd need some kind of liquid physics engine. Something i doubt we'll be seeing for a very long time, if ever.. as it's just a lot easier to create convincing illusions. It would be awsome though....
