TheChosenOne- Posted May 20, 2003 Share Posted May 20, 2003 I saw a kotor trailer the other night,forgot where,but during the footage,i saw yoda.Now,i know it can't be the famous jedi master,but another little green guy.I'm betting,if theres a jedi counsel in this game,hes the boss.I'd rather see yoda then mace windu-lol.Actually,i'd like to see a jedi like plo koon.Why--Plo is cool and it'll be weird to see how his mask would be done a thousand years before ep.1 But sorry guys,i did forget where i saw 'yoda'.It had to of come fromthis site via a link or something.What this site needs,is a section where all the damn trailers are posted...ALL of them,large,small,E3,fan made...whatever. Hannibal the wise,i agree.I see the links and stuff all over the forums.But i'm just saying,it would be cool to have them all placed together under a menu for selecting instead of having to remember where it was posted under which topic-lol.But regardless-This site will always rule. It never said Yoda was the strongest with the saber, just the strongest with the force. If I am the best at spelling it doesn't necessarily make me the best at English. Or (a sports analogy) if I'm the best runner it doesn't automatically make me the best football player. So Yoda can be beaten. It just hasn't been done, yet. I'm also glad that this new character isn't completely like Yoda. IE- Talking backwards, things like that. (I think Hannibal said it first) It is enough to just have a character like that in the game. We don't want it turning into the movies. Compiling all the links on the site does sound like a very nice feature. It'd save us from having to scramble everywhere. We'd just scramble to SWK.com. Also, this game won't need that to sell great. @Weisa--Just put what you want to say in the reply box, not the post subject. If they did that they would probably get sued for false advertising and their businesses could be in jeopardy. Not a smart move and there is no way they would ever do it. There are so many other characters bio's we need though... *runs to prioritize* Anybody think this Yoda-like character will be as strong as the Yoda we know from the movies? I don't think he can be, but it would be cool if he was because of the times he lived in. (always fighting sith, etc.) What do you all think? I think the devs said something about it once and what are the odds of him not being a Jedi? I'd say maybe 1 in 100. Why would you not want to make him a Jedi character? Various sources say there is a large attack on the Republic forces from the Sith at the beginning of the game, but that would be too early for your character to be a part of. I don't think you can actually affect the Republic until later in the game when you are more powerful, however. But you never know. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see. I am very curious about his role... my thoughts on his dialog in the trailer are that it takes place during the battle on Taris at the beginning. We'll have the whole "It is too late to retreat Admiral, there is no escape for us"-speech, and he'll be slowly preparing to become one with the Force... until suddenly the Ebon Hawk docks with the ship, allowing the bridge crew and the Yoda character to escape from the dying command ship. Mayhaps Shan felt some sort of SOS signal from her master(it COULD be the Yoda character), and decided to move in, or Carth wanted to try and save a flew blokes from the command ship. It is rather interesting to note that all three Yoda characters we've met so far have all been Jedi Masters(Yoda, Yaddle and this new Yoda character)... which would make one wonder, are everyone on their planet this powerful in the Force?
