Kain Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Okay, I don't know if this is in the rules of the Swamp*I never read em anyways*, but I got 2 videos that I want the music ripped from and converted into mp3 format. I can't find the music by itself any where, so I was hoping someone here knows how to do it.

Search for a dree program on Google, that is made to be free, and not some sort of Kazza file.
Boba Rhett Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Open the videos up in a program like Vdub and save the sound out as a WAV file. Then use a program such as Cdex to convert the WAV into an MP3. Tadaaaaa.
HertogJan Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 There's also another way; you can select 'what you hear' at the recording properties and then click record in some sort of sound editing software and then start your movie. That works great for flashmovies, or unknown file formats, or when you want to record sound from a game or something

Kain Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 okay, now heres the problem. I tried recording the music to .wav format to change it to MP3, but my computer sucks and the sound recorder stops responding as soon as I start playing the videos. Thus, not music without video yet.

Ok, it doesn't work. The only logical conclusion must be to attribute it to the supernatural. Better start praying.
