Who cares if its Hitler? He is an interesting person to study. Not nice, but just neat to read about how his mind worked.

Because, I don't find it interesting. Do you find children and women being killed (thousands of them) interesting? People don't want to be reminded of this. I see no reason to have that man as an avatar.

Actually, I DO find it interseting. To see how his mind worked and how the world functioned back then. And, if they dont want to be reminded, they dont have to listen to me.

Anyways, there was a worse murderer...

I forgot his name, but he used to take the blood of young children (killing them), and transfer it into his body, in thoughts of him being forever young. He may not have killed as many people, but this is WAY worse than what the nazis did IMO.

What Stormy said, basically.

The Swastika is an ancient symbol used in many cultures (Indian, I think). It represents the sun. When Hitler perverted its meaning and symbolism, he placed it slightly sideways - the original symbol was standing up straight.

Now, a guy in another forum had the original symbol as an avatar. What would your reactions to this be?

Many people complained about it. Many people supported his stance against bending over.

He won. The mods gave him his right to use it.

Can I use the upside down Satanic cross as an avatar here? Does it offend anyone? Yes, I hear you say. But then again, if someone posted a cross here (for whatever purpose), I'd support the first guy who's offended by it 100%. He has every right to be offended by the Christian cross, the Jewish star and Islamic crescent moon - just as you people are feeling rightfully offended at having Hitler as an avatar.

And remember, there is no free speech here. Being in Lucasforums is a priviledge, not a right.

Why would anyone be offended by someone posted a cross? I wouldnt be offended if someone posted a Star of David. Why? Because I dont care!!! Honestly, people get offended to easily these days. Its so damned stupid!

But d00ku. You should really put it in your sig. Because some people that changed their names, I forget who they are pretty much.

Like, say I changed my name to SpunkySharewell, or something like that, youd probly know it wasnt me.
