Naphtali
Iv;e heard rumors that pcs can be tracked by black boxes, I would like to know if this is true or not and if so does anyone now details
leXX
Go to [start] then [run] then type CMD, hit ok. Type IPCONFIG in the command prompt, and that will give you your IP address. I don't know what you mean by 'black boxes', but everything you do on the net can be seen by your ISP and is recorded depending on where you are. (CMD applies to NT4, Win2000 and XP only)
Lord Glorfindel
If you have something lower than XP, ME, or 2000, then put run command and type winipcfg OR if you have a unix machine type nslookup hostname
TheMaestro
Even if you have XP you can still track it down through the Control Panel.
