How do you know your own IP address

Go to [start] then [run] then type CMD, hit ok. Type IPCONFIG in the command prompt, and that will give you your IP address.

 

I don't know what you mean by 'black boxes', but everything you do on the net can be seen by your ISP and is recorded depending on where you are.

 

 

(CMD applies to NT4, Win2000 and XP only)
