Donnie Darko
I know that there are 3 layers for your character concerning wearables. My question is what order do they go in? Like will armor always be on top? Can I wear something over my armor to conceal it? Thanks!

Bogo Fertt
Not sure about this because I wasn't in beta. I'm guessing that we may be able to put something over our armor like a cloak or something, but your guess is as good as mine.
Vesentac
The answer is no.  If you wear armor then you cannot wear clothing really.   Pretty much have a shirt, 1st layer then jacket/cloak and 2nd layer then a pack/strap/bandolier. 3 layer  If you wear armor then you take off your clothes. Armor does and can make a difference. Which is why you have a bag for clothes and one for armor as well.
Donnie Darko
Oh darn I guess I'm going without armor, WOOO!!!
Deft Aklin
Okay, it is far more complex than described above. Let me see if I can explain it.  You can wear clothes under your armor.  1st layer.....your clothes. This only includes one shirt and pair of pants.  Armor is far more complex as it comes in several pieces: Chest plate Helmet Boots Leggings Gloves Right and Left Bicep Right and left bracer  Now, assuming you had all of this armor on and wanted to wear a robe, the robe would remove your upper body armor and take it's place.  Back packs and jewelry can be worn over anything. Donnie Darko
Ooooooh! I get it, thanks for clearing that up Darth...then I won't wear chest armor!
Deft Aklin
Honestly, I can't remember whether it took off my helmet, bicep, bracer, or hand armor, but it's something I'll have to check on. I never wear a helmet anyway though.
Donnie Darko
Is armor an important part of the game? Can you "get away" without wearing any armor?
Deft Aklin
Yes you can get away without wearing armor. In fact, the armor I wear is only good against blaster fire, so people find it odd that I can stand toe to toe with a Rancor for 30 seconds to a minute. I don't have the heart to tell them that with two people and the right tactics you can go toe to toe indefinitely against such opponents, but that involves some serious stats, skill, execution and most of all communication. Â Many people do not believe in tactics, but many people have never taken down a Rancor in a group of three men either.
Donnie Darko
Gooooood, I am glad to hear that your characters won't have to be very dependant on armor because I can't picture my Teras Kasi with armor on. Thanks Sid!
