Discworld

Lost Welshman

Recommended Posts

I just finsished the first book I've read in a while. And I loved it!

Discworld, now officially Rocks!

I desperatly want another book to keep me occupied for another weekend :p

If you can recommend any other discworld books that would be cool. Feel free to write what you think about the ones you've read. Are they all as good as 'Sourcery'

I realise they all aren't about Rincewind the Wizard, if you can call him that. But they all seem so cool and I don't know which one to get next. I'm thinking about gettin 'Soul Music'

For those of you who don't know what discworld is, FIND OUT! If you don't like reading just get one of the games. At least the first one is great, does anyone know about the others?

Heh, where to begin? There are so many good ones out there.

Two of my favourites are "Hogfather" and "Equal Rites". To be honest, you can't really go wrong with a Discworld book...

But, at the moment I'm reading book after book by Philip K Dick - magnificent author.

I'll certainly check them out. At first I disliked the whole Idea of the Hogfather thing, but I'm sure it would be great.

I never looked at Equal Rites because I don't fancy reading any of the Witches stories. I think I'll stick to Rincewind and Death. Then move on to the city guard and then the witches.

But thanks anyway, I'll look into them.

Mort, then Reaper Man?

Then Soul Music.....

Sounds like the Death Trilogy to me. I loved Death in the first game so I'm going with that :D

Thanks Guys. I'll get back to you once I've finished them.

Then I'm on to the city watch stuff.

Good work on those signed discworld books :D

Must be cool.

'It is widely beleived that all roads lead to Ankh-Morpork, when infact all roads, lead away from Ankh-Morpork'

He he, Discworld Rules!

I don't think I'd get Pyramids, but If I had It I would still try and enjoy it.

Shall I get either

The Death Trilogy (Mort, Reaper Man, Soul Music)

The Truth

or

Theif of Time

They all sound really cool, and I don't know what to get

(who likes my new discworld sig :p)

Ok, now its got harder.

I could get the Death Trilogy,

or I could get The Truth AND Theif of Time together and save alot.

The Truth and Theif of Time are supposed to be some of the best. But I can't resist the charm that is, Death. I think I'll go for the two instead of the trilogy in the end though.
