Crafter's Paradise

While in beta I came accross the greatest sight a crafter could ever see...the sign read crafter's paradise. This is something I think the crafters of the =A= should emulate. Basically it was outside of Bestine or Bria, it was a medium or large house (not sure, I just had a small house). When you walk in you come out on a balcony overlooking a large room. Inside the room below along the walls are private crafting stations of every kind. Just so you know, you need "private" crafting stations to make anything over level 30 schematics. In the middle of the room were tables, chairs, and couches.

 

I think this would make an excellent place to complete all your crafting needs, but a great place to socialize as well. It should be =A= owned and every =A= should be granted access. While I am not trying to take anything away from our PA hall, this would be a good base for the crafting division. The one in beta did not feature this, but I think we should also have factories located right outside the faciity. Higher level schematics require factory made items in a crate. Bewteen the factories and the stations you will be able to craft anything form start to finish.

 

plus we can charge 50 creds admission from outside people :-)

Sounds like a good idea, but our town doesn't want to be too crowded. Either way i don't mind, there will just have to be limits.

 

It's up to wraith, jan and set anyway. There town, there PA. There say.

I do not want it to be too crowed also. I spent most of my time around Coronet and it was quite crowded. I am also worried about getting our "spot" on Starsider. Everyone will make a bee line for the "sweet spots", so it will be a race to see who can grind out a Pa hall the fastest. Also, we may want to wait for player cities to be implemented because right now houses are randomly placed on a plot of land and there is no connection between them. The Cantina everyone is talking about will also be a simple house "designated" as a Cantina. They have not worked out the kinks on that one.

 

While I agree it is up to the leaders, it is our PA, not theirs. A PA is only as strong as its members, not the clout of its chiefs.

Exactly! I can't stress this enough; the PA is made up by it's members. If us leader were sitting huddled in some secret room deciding everthing, the PA would be boring as hell. Heh, the worst thing you can ever do is to follow our orders without questioning! Did I say that loud? *D'oh!* Anyhow, yes, we most often have a lot more info than the usual member, since we spend so much time figuring out what you want. But that doesn't mean that we should not leave a lot of the decisions up to you, and I think it has worked great this far. Every major decision I can think of has been made on these boards. I'd like it to continue like that.
