•-BLaCKouT-• Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Hey folks. Just a quick 'un. Normally I use Mozilla 1.3 as a browser, and I can't see the 'glow' around peoples user names. I can see them using in IE5, but I don't like using it. Does anyone know why this happens? If it's a problem inherent to Mozilla / netscape then I probably won't bother buying a glowy name that's all. I was just wondering if there's an option somewhere that I've got clicked 'off'. Everything else seems to look fine. Cheers in advance, B.
ZBomber Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 I'm pretty sure no one gets it with Mozzila. It could also depend on your computer.... how old is it?
•-BLaCKouT-• Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 My comp's only about 18 months old (old in computer terms, I know) so it shouldn't be that. I've just read this in IE6 (it is version 6 I've got shows how much notice I take!) and the glows are there fine, so I guess it is just Mozilla. The reason I use Mozilla is the pop-up killer. They really bug me, especially the ones with sound Anyway, as long as I know it's not just an option I've got clicked off. I may get a glowy name at some point when I've got spare credits, but I've got other things to get first Cheers for yer help, B.
ZBomber Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 You can download some good pop-up killers from http://www.downloads.com
