Does anyone know if your character can wear the clothes and cloak that those sith knights are wearing? that would be SOOOOO FREAKING AWESOME....and do you have to buy clothes, or is like in morrowind, where you can kill someone and take their clothes? I'm also wondering how long a dead body will stay before vanishing, or will it vanish?

I can't wait. :D

Well all I know is that you can get cloaks but I'm not sure if it'll be the same as Sith's or Dark Jedi's. Umm I don't think you can take the clothing of the person you kill, rather the items they have, just search the body after you've killed it. In the beginning the body does not vanish, I think it does after you've walked away from the spot for a while and stuff.

I hope that helped :D

Apart from what's been said, I think on XB it is a maximum of 3 dead bodies on screen or something, not sure, but the items will be left conveniently in a loot container if they vanish hmm, might only be important items on that, can't remember.

Possibly a slider to control this on the PC.

Dev answer:

If we allow all the dead bodies to simply pile up it would create poor frame rate and massive lag. The more bodies, living or dead, that you have in an area the higher the memory used by the system for that area is.

In KotOR we have it coded in that there will be 3 dead bodies on the map at any given time. So if you kill 1 or 2 creatures they will stay on the screen. But if you kill 4 creatures, when the 4th dies the first corpse will fade away. If the body that fades had any useful treasure on it the treasure will be left behind when the body fades. And anytime the player leaves a map and returns any dead bodies he had left behind are gone.

This doesn't include placeable dead bodies. A placeable dead body is an art resource and can be placed in a map to add ambience (like "Wow a big fight must have happened here. Look at all the dead bodies.") of to hold treasure (like "We finally found the body of the missing Jedi. I wonder if he has any loot on him?".

So how fast they fade away will depend on how fast you kill other enemies.

Does that answer one your questions? :)
