Or maybe just your camera passes through a thick area portal in an other but open door. Or something else. Screenshots are always useful either from game or editor. Mercenary Posted July 14, 2003 Author Share Posted July 14, 2003 I imported the room, door and hallway from the original map and made the cutscene in a seperate map. It worked perfectly. I loaded the ref_tags and info_nulls back to the original map. The cutscene works but in this map the door disappears for a second. I checked the blocks grid and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Kengo Posted July 14, 2003 Share Posted July 14, 2003 Hmmm, I had this happen too, for no apparent reason things dissapearing in a cutscene...Hmmm, I guess if you copied the entire map, and pasted it into a new map file, it would probabaly work. Not sure it would be worth all that bother just for this problem though - if you do, make 20 or 30 ...thousand backups. Keep one CD several miles away incase where you are falls into the sea.
