Matrix86 Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Is the max level you can get to in kotor level 20 or so? Cause this game is based on the Neverwinter Nights rules and everything, i really hope not cause that would suck.
Com Raven Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Technically, this game is not based on the Neverwinter Nights rules. NWN is based on the D&D 3rd Ed., which itself is part of the D20 rules system. So are the Star Wars RPG rules, which are the base for Knights

I did at level 7, but if I had done more Taris quests, it would have been 8. And I am almost through with the game (just reached the climax this morning) and only a level 9 Jedi.... But it might add the classes and make me a level 16 character? I dunno about that though. I would think this because there is no way I'm gonna be a Level 20 Jedi by the game's conclusion (only 2 planets left...)

A bunch of players are attempting to escape Taris at level 2 and by the time they face off Malak, will be level 18 Jedi! Well, BioWare made Malak hard enough for a level 12 or 13 Jedi, but playing as a level 18 Jedi might just make youy able to slaughter him. How they escape Taris at Level 2 is beyond me, that alone would be the whole challenge of it.
Hannibal Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 The first time I fought Malak he tore me up. Then I decided just to duel him and not use to many force powers and I was able to beat him.
