TK-8252
Will you be releasing a patch to add HapSlash's Stormtrooper & Imperial Officer to the Secret Base demo also? (when he finishes them)
Maullaney
I would love to play the demo again with Hap's stormtrooper, especially with my new Fx:D This patch is really cool and inspiring because the team is still advancing even though of all the problems. TK-8252
Excuse my drifting off topic but, what new Fx? If it has anything to do with Stormtroopers then I want it!
Darth_Linux
I don't know what Mullaney's new Fx are . . .
ImmolatedYoda
im sure he meant his new GeForce FX Series graphics card...
TK-8252
I feel so stupid!
HapSlash
Right now The new Stormtrooper model isn't done yet. I still need to do a bit of texture correcting on his left knee then go through the troubles of LODing him. So I don't think you'll be seeing it in the demo patch they have planned,... Unless it takes a long time to get the new website up.
TK-8252
Getting a little more ontopic, is the only new thing on the Imperial Commando the skin on the helmet? I read somewhere that Corto was going to model on the big gloves and add the belt boxes like HapSlash has on his Imp Navy Trooper. Will Corto be doing these things too? Darth_Linux
The commando also gets some new goggles that reflect the environment. I'm not sure about the gloves and belt though. Corto probably knows, but he doesn't post too often.
Maullaney
Well, the update is still going to be very cool whether or not the new storm trooper will be in it. Yes, I was refering to my graphics card which is pissing me off because it messes up the shadows in jkii, but still runs perfectly smooth. I guess its not supported yet or something, I dont know. Fracman
Did you switch on the stencil shadows ? They tend to appear on weird positions sometimes
Maullaney
Yeah, I put simple shadows on which fixed it. One of the reasons I bought this card was to play JO with the phattest graphics, gf mx400 was alright but couldn't do all. It froze a lot during the swamp levels so I used a cheat codes to get past it:mad:
Fracman
Heh was the GF MX 400 not in fact a revived GF2? I think you need at least GF3 to play JO with full gfx quality, I had a GF 3 TI 200 and the only limitation there is my CPU.
Maullaney
Yeah, I think the mx400 is just a beefer gf 2 but not as beefy as gf 2 titanium. I like my fx better . . . so far.
