Jan Gaarni Posted August 18, 2003 Share Posted August 18, 2003 Yes, everyone has a chance at opening the Jedi slot. It is not profession related, faction side related, species related, etc.... In other words, noone knows how to open the Jedi slot, just that everyone has a chance to. This is not a Jedi game though. I've stated hundreds of times that this game is taking place in the wrong time period for that. Thus, the Jedi numbers will be kept pretty low, both by the mystery of unlocking the slot, aswell as the difficulty of training as a Jedi, not to mention when you die the 3rd time or something, you character really do dies (read=autodeleted). Jo Posted August 18, 2003 Share Posted August 18, 2003 I would imagine so...if that other person has the FS slot opened.. i agree with Jan here. and also why open it up. If you do you get three deaths before Permadeath...then you have to start your character all over again..and you keep the FS slot...so you would constantly be starting over unless you became a hermit in the middle of no where..even then there are creatures that can kill... not a good thing..i think i would be mad if i unlocked it.
