rwcrolla Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 I cannot run Jedi Knight II, as (I belive this is the problem, as I have tried many solutions) the video card is not supported. Will this card be supported so I may be able to play Jedi Knight III? Thanks for any help
Kurgan Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Unknown. Hopefully we can get a Raven person in here to answer... I would hazard to guess if it's not already supported by JK2, chances aren't good, unless it's just a driver issue, then perhaps new drivers will be released by then. When the demo comes out you can always test it, and that should tell you if its supported or not.
Emon Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Any Radeon 9x00 card should work... make sure you update your drivers. Are there any specific errors yet get? Infact, any card fully compliant with the version of OpenGL used should work.
ryudom Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 i have a 9000 and it works great with jk2, i'm sure the 9100 works too
Qui-Zan Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Jedi Knight II runs fine on my 9600. download the latest drivers from http://www.ati.com do you get an error message or something?
Kurgan Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Moved thread to Tech Help forum.. perhaps you can get the issues straightened out with JK2 before JA comes out...? Good luck!
rwcrolla Posted August 25, 2003 Author Posted August 25, 2003 My specific error: I run the game, it just pops the promt load then goes to load the game, instead of the game loading I get a grey blank screen, then I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close the Jedi Knight II, because it is "Not Responding" It gives me the usualy XP error message "send/don't send report"
tFighterPilot Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Sounds like you don't have openGL Since you have XP, you can't use the GL setup. You'll need to download the latest driver.
